SquidBid’s founder and CEO Marcus Crockett, was introduced to Brian Patrick Cork in November of 2009. Cork is currently coaching Crockett around the re-development of the Squidbid platform with an objective of coming under capital formation by the 4th Qtr of 2010.
Squidbid, LLC is a new venture created to provide efficiency to the global market of products and services. The immediate focus is within the computer hardware and business furniture industries – with an initial target market of AL, GA, FL, SC and TN.
Squidbid, LLC will markedly differentiate itself by offering a complete and efficient online demand-driven-marketplace linking buyers and sellers together in a way that makes inventory liquidation more efficient. Our first product is a solution for small business procurement combined with relevant search. Complete membership management, posting, request monitoring, fee payment and feedback will be provided and all services will be backed by a one-of-a-kind SaaS procurement platform providing the small businesses with an efficient customizable purchasing management tool.
Squidbid, LLC has been funded entirely by the Crockett family, and is seeking $925,000 through a combination of equity and convertible /redeemable debt.
SquidBid, LLC now has a Quick FACT Sheet™ available for review and is currently working with the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce through a landmark one hundred (100) company beta test of the reverse e-commerce platform. This unprecedented event is meant to test, break and fix the platform to identify weakness and gauge user response. The direct result of this should include investor and strategic partner interest.
